WELCOME TO ST. TIMOTHY SCHOOL'S 6TH GRADE READING CURRICULUM PAGE!

The following is the 6th grade Reading Curriculum. Reading and Writing skills are generated and supported through the Novel Units read throughout the year. Sixth graders read four novels in class. There is usually homework assigned involving New Vocabulary and Discussion Questions. Each novel has a different End-of-Unit project assigned to it, as well.

Around the end of the third quarter, we delve into our Greek Mythology Unit, where we learn about the gods and goddesses of another world. Click on Zeus to get more information!

Clicking on the book cover will take you to a new window and a chance find out more about each novel. Close that window to return to this page.
